Choosing a Size

A common guide is 1 cubic inch of space for every pound your cat weighed. The small urn holds about 23 cubic inches, which fits most cats, since most adult house cats weigh about 8 to 12 lb. Choose the large, about 54 cubic inches, for a big cat over 20 lb, or if you would like room for their collar or a few small keepsakes inside with the ashes.

How to Personalize

1. Pick their cat: a short hair tabby, a long hair cat or a black cat.
2. Type your cat's name exactly as you want it engraved (up to 16 characters, so two names like Milo & Luna fit).
3. Add a line under the name if you like, such as Our Sweet Girl or Forever Loved (up to 22 characters, engraved in capitals).
4. Add a bottom line if you like, such as 2010 to 2026 (up to 20 characters).
5. Pick the size: small for most cats, up to about 20 lb, or large for a bigger cat or extra room inside.

What if my cat does not look like any of them?
Pick the one closest in coat. The engraving is one tone, so a gray, orange or calico cat with short fur usually suits the tabby drawing, and a fluffy cat of any color suits the long hair one.

What should I write on the lid?
Short words read best. A few that families choose: Our Sweet Girl, Forever Loved, Best Cat Ever, Until We Meet Again, Always Our Boy.

How do the ashes go inside?
Turn the urn over and unscrew the bottom, place the ashes inside, then close it back up. Nothing on the lid or sides needs to open.

Can it be kept outside?
It is solid wood made for display indoors, such as on a mantel, a shelf or a dresser.
