Rainbow Bridge Pet Memorial Slate

A rainbow, their name and a promise that you will see them again.

• Natural slate, 10 by 8 inches, with rough chipped edges
• A rainbow with a paw print beneath it
• Run Free, Sweet Friend, their name and their years
• Until we meet again at the Rainbow Bridge, engraved at the bottom
• Stands on its own on a shelf, windowsill or desk

For a lot of people, the Rainbow Bridge is the thought that makes the goodbye bearable: somewhere green and warm where they are young again, running free, waiting for you. This slate puts that hope where you can see it every day.

A rainbow arches across the top with a single paw print beneath it. Below sit RUN FREE, SWEET FRIEND, their name in a flowing script, their years, and two lines to finish: Until we meet again at the Rainbow Bridge. Everything is laser engraved a soft pale grey on the dark slate, inside a thin border.

It makes a kind sympathy gift for a friend or family member, and a quiet keepsake for your own home.

How to personalize

1. Type your pet's name exactly the way you called them (up to 14 characters).
2. Add their years if you like, such as 2011 to 2025. Leave it blank and that line is left off.

We engrave exactly what you type, so check the spelling before you add it to your cart. Our team laser-engraves every slate by hand in Monroe, Connecticut.

Questions

What is the Rainbow Bridge?
It comes from a much-loved poem about a meadow just this side of heaven, where pets wait, healthy and happy, until their people come to meet them. Many families find comfort in it after a loss.

Is it for a dog or a cat?
Either. The design fits any pet, and their name makes it theirs.

Can it go outdoors?
No, it is an indoor keepsake. The slate is sealed for indoor display, so keep it inside on a shelf, windowsill or desk.
